The challenge

A bridge structural engineering firm had accumulated years of projects documented in technical drawings. Every time a new bearing needed a quote, the reference sat in some earlier project that someone had to locate and read. The knowledge existed, but it wasn’t searchable.

What we did

We built a system that interprets the technical drawings, extracts each bearing’s characteristics and structures them into a database that the engineering and sales teams can search.

The result

The company’s technical history went from being scattered across drawings to a structured resource that supports quote preparation.
