IPL needs its crews to log every job (location, procedure, materials and before-and-after photos) so it can justify the service to its clients. The previous app was tied to how the old handhelds worked and became obsolete when the ERP changed, while photo reports were still being assembled by hand.
We observed a real working day, redesigned the app and connected it to the new ERP: work orders downloaded per crew member, offline work with later sync, and photos and technical sheets inside the same flow. Since then we have maintained it and adapted it to every change in the management system.
The app is now IPL’s production tool. In July 2026, when an ERP API change left the company unable to work, IPL approved the urgent intervention the next day and, within a single working day, the crews — including the night shift — were operating normally again.
