Patients and caregivers keep asking the same questions: how to place the sensor, how to tell if a child has diabetes, what living with the condition day to day involves. These are queries that need a correct answer available at any time, and that consume support-team time when handled one by one.

What we did
We built an AI assistant that answers the most common questions in natural language and always refers users to the manufacturer’s official resources when a question goes beyond what it can resolve. The technical content and the assistant’s behaviour were validated with the client’s teams. On that same foundation, a voice support channel was later explored.

The result
Users have an immediate-response channel for the most frequent questions, with content reviewed by the manufacturer itself and referral to its official resources.
The project in images
For confidentiality reasons, some details in this case are presented in anonymised or aggregated form. Images are illustrative and may not show real product screenshots.
We updated and maintained the iOS and Android apps healthcare professionals used to calculate the dose of an Ipsen treatment, adapted to each country’s regulation and with centralised version control.
