Ipsen put a dose-calculation app in the hands of healthcare professionals for one of its treatments. The tool had to stay up to date, be easier to use during a consultation, and adapt to each country’s regulation. Ipsen also needed to be able to stop any version with an error immediately, before it could affect a prescription.
We redesigned the navigation and the adult and paediatric flows, added a panel to activate, block or force a version update, and took on monthly maintenance of both apps, including the country adaptations and a new therapeutic indication.
Ipsen moved from a one-off project to an ongoing maintenance service with Nakima. That let them take the tool to new markets and extend it to new indications without rebuilding it, with centralised control over which version each professional had.
