A commercial induction generator is hardware, but without a software layer it cannot be configured, calibrated or licensed. The manufacturer needed its own customers to be able to adjust cooking zones, calibrate and diagnose the equipment without relying on external support for every change, and to do so in several languages and with licences controlled by serial number.
We developed the product’s software on two fronts: configuration and control — CAN-BUS component autodetection, cooking zones, calibration, temperature control, error diagnostics and support in six languages — and the admin panel that generates and validates licences by serial number. We then trained the client’s team and handed over the complete environment for them to operate independently.
The product became configurable and independently licensable by whoever sells it, without depending on us for day-to-day operation. The foundation we built also made it possible to extend it to new generator models without rebuilding it.
