Oshun wanted to digitise how people find and book a tattoo artist or piercer, a sector with no reference platforms in Spain. As a newly created startup, it needed to pin down the product, its charging model and its cost before seeking funding, and at the same time have a presence in the market as soon as possible.
We defined the full product in a functional document with wireframes for clients and professionals, worked through the per-booking charging model with the founder, and prepared the architecture and the development budget. We then launched a WordPress MVP to start attracting professionals and users.
Oshun went out to raise funding with the product defined, costed and ready to build, and opened its first website in 2021. That foundation let them validate the market before committing to the investment in the full platform.
